Kim Doner

It did not enhance the House of Night series any for me. I think this would be a cute book to give a Freshman entering high school while introducing them to the series for the first time. I liked that it offered journal sections for the owner (I also liked that I got this book from the library and no one had written in the book).

I loved the idea of a school book for vampires and the art made especially for the book, the papers of the book are like magazine's paper, thick and glossy.

Though the pictures and illustrations are beautiful, I found the content less than enthralling (it is a handbook after all. I got about 35 pages in, skipped around some and decided I was done.
