Desmond Doane

In spite of the Big Ending (which was actually a lot of fun), this one took quite a bit longer to get it's legs under it than the previous 2 books did.

Very enjoyable follow-up to [b:The Dark Man|25774546|The Dark Man (The Graveyard Classified Paranormal Series Book 1)|Desmond Doane|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1440853510l/25774546._SY75_.jpg|45623374]. This is pretty much just 2 (well, 2.5) different stories told in more-or-less alternating chapters giving more depth to both Ford and Mike. I'm very interested in seeing where this series ends up!

Much better book than I was expecting - had a decent amount of scary bits, and I really like the dynamic of the estranged friends reconnecting.

I thought the book was well done. Two stories from two time frames in the main character's life told simultaneously, which was clearly written and easy to follow. Read it in one sitting because it was a page turner of ghosts and demons and general scariness.

and immediately bought The White Night (the second in the series) :)
