I find this book really a bibliography on published literature. The author is critical in print of many of his peers, not a common occurance in scientific publications.

The strength of the book is probably the range maps, once you use some other source for identification of a free unrestrained living subject.

The author presumes the reader will use one of several short keys for identification of a dead creature in the hand, rather than try to identify an object that cannot be apporoached closely, or that can only be heard..… (plus d'informations)
