1331 The Great Wall Street Scandal, by Raymond L. Dirks and Leonard Gross (read 3 May 1975) This is a book about the Equity Funding Corp, debacle, which broke in March 1973. It is by the securities analyst who helped break the story. The book is poorly organized and written, and of course the story is too new to be recounted in analytic detail. The author says one should buy no-load mutual funds, bonds, and the like, and that whole life is a poor investment.
