Avery meets Jesse when she moves to a seaside town. After swearing off men after her husband betrayed her, she nevertheless meets a good man in no time, thanks to the encouragement of her new room mate, Jodie. This is a quiet novel, with its soul firmly buried in romance - because Jessie is a bit of a dreamboat, and a man who is also recovering from a bad breakup.

Lone Hearts is a fun, fast-paced romance between two players who meet their match. I found both Sage and Cash were strong, likeable characters that you want to succeed however, they are self-acknowledged players so to enjoy this book you need to be okay with what that entails for the storyline. Overall, I found it to be a really enjoyable, easy read.

This is an honest and voluntary review based on a complementary copy I received of this book.

The No Brides Club series proves there is strength in numbers. This bond of sisterhood plays many roles within the lives of six strong women searching for a soft place to fall in the heartbreaking moments and a source of strength to help them keep the faith during times of doubt. No Time for Promises is one woman's quest to never give on her dreams. Rachel thought she knew what she wanted until love got in the way. Will she follow her dreams or listen to her heart? Detweiler takes readers on a tale of self-discovery that culminates in an introspective and emotionally challenging ride.
