This book is about a young boy and his grandma who go on a bus ride after church. During this strip he asks many question to understand and realize that everyone is different and unique. This book would be great for a primary read. Kids may be able to relate. The illustrations were very clear and easy to read.

Picture book about a nana and her grandson riding the bus all the way to the end of Market Street. They are going to volunteer at a soup kitchen after church. On the way, they meet a variety of people and experience all that urban life has to offer. The nana teaches CJ (grandson) a valuable life lesson about happiness and being grateful.

I think this book is super cute and very applicable to lots of different children! It teaches kids about being grateful for what they have and the life they live. I would definitely use this book in a classroom setting for 1st-2nd graders.… (plus d'informations)

Beautiful little book. Won the newbery, Scott king and Caldecott awards. A deceptively simple story of a boys bus ride to a soup kitchen with his grandmother.
