The Light at the End of the World par Siddhartha Deb

The book is confusing, fascinating and enlightening. I love the mystery and connection between four different time periods in India. There is a strong presentation of the inequity and lack of power of the poor.

interesting portrait of india and the search to succeed and be rich. my favourite was the one about the woman. some of the others he skipped around too much and i found it hard to establish his point.
orwell prize finalist.

An Outline of the Republic: A Novel par Siddhartha Deb

This book was an adventure in imagination for me. Mostly about bringing invisible folks to life than about making a splash. I found this a rewarding read and a good trip to the eastern outposts of India.
