Davenport resells the story of C. S. Lewis' life from birth to his death. Each chapter details significant point in lewis' life, whether it is his experience in school, his developing interest in writing and literature, or his love life.
Biography (information is accurtae, bibliography provided at end of book, very rich in factual content and shows both good and bad aspects of Lewis' life.

This is a great autobiography of a collection of C.S. Lewis books. It has great information on each book he has written that is awesome and age appropraite for kids who want to know about this amours author. I think this would be a great book to have if I keep the Chronicles of Narnia in my classroom library. All of the illustrations are photos.
