Boy Swallows Universe: A Novel par Trent Dalton
Beautiful story, memorable characters, humor, mystery, even a bit of a twist at the end. I’ve been looking forward to reading this for a while and it didn’t disappoint.
rare to have something so big that feels so close to home. not a book I would go for, or the kind of story that I would normally enjoy but because it is set in Brisbane in the late 80s, the time and place my mum was when she was my age, makes it very enticing and allows me to put down the guards I always have up when it comes to a book, movie, tv, etc. that is outside of what I have deemed to be good.
A great read. The story rollicks along with great characters. What goes around comes around. Thanks for the recommendation, Sarah.
