Not a book of practical advice (it never claims to be). The photographs are seriously gorgeous. I especially liked the two examples of changing some basic decorations to make the same room look completely different.

The other reviewer of this is too kind. Not only are these staged images impractical for most of us, they're not practical for actual living even for those who could afford to live this way. Even in winter the fruit flies are going to love those plums you have scattered on the table runner as a centerpiece. And all the handcrafted that, rebuilt this, ai-yi-yi.

I think that I'll adopt the idea of massing houseplants instead of scattering them throughout the apartment; more impact. And I do appreciate that I've finally been clearly informed of the reason for a wreath in winter - a ring of living material symbolizing nature's continuity and renewal."

No actual projects."
