He consulted afficher plus on Freak Out In Cucamonga, a documentary film about Frank Zappas period as a studio owner and surf-music pioneer. This was s very well-researched, comprehensive history of surf music and culture in Southern California in the early 1960s. Enjoyable but with a few typos, which is why I rated it 4.9/5.0.
This not really a book about Carl Wilson. It's more a book about the Beach Boys and it shows where Carl Wilson fits in with the band.
