Feminist AF: A Guide to Crushing Girlhood par Brittney Cooper

I happened to read this while Surviving R. Kelly was released and damn do they pair well. Brittney Cooper explains difficulties black women have in feminist circles and black advocates because both disregard black women. The essays are a mixture of her personal experiences and what she has learned through formal education and research.
The mix of Black feminist theory and memoir was right up my alley. It's a fabulous listen, too, on audio.
A really great book on the Black Woman experience in America - where the rage comes from, how to keep moving. Very instructive and illuminating on the forces and history that have molded us into the where we are now positions.
