Becky E. Conekin

This is one of the best academic texts about the Festival of Britain that is out there! I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in the Festival or in post-War design. Conekin covers most of the basics that anyone researching the Festival needs to know and she provides plenty of points to continue ones own research.

The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars are for a couple of points where it is not the clearest or where she does not answer exactly the questions that I had about the subject. Yet, that does not diminish the overall usefulness of this book.… (plus d'informations)
