First of all, I love the cat's name. It matches his personality perfectly. Usually, this kind of book just makes me chuckle, but this one made me laugh out loud numerous times.
I loved how it poked fun at all the popular fads of the moment (like adult coulouring and activity books), but it does it in such a comical way that it entices you to, after you stop laughing, get your pencils out and try to solve that damned maze.
(well, it enticed me, and I'm not so easily swayed when it comes to these fads...)
The humour was witty and just the right amount of snarky.
Only remark; I don't think the 'April fools' joke on p 102-103 translated to English, as there is no real equivalent for 'poisson d'avril'. But I thought it was really funny anyways, transported me right back to my childhood.

I received an ARC for this book through Netgalley, this has had no influence on my opinion.

This book was not my cup of tea. I found it a bit boring, perhaps because I'm not a cat person. Would still recommend it for ardent cat lovers, others probably won't like it.

Note: I received a free copy of this book from the publisher. This has not influenced my review in any way.

Hmmm...it's probably not a great endorsement that I finished this book and thought was that really necessary? Maybe because I just read another cat-loving book where the protagonist might be me (in a kind of Fight Club situation wherein I don't actually know it is me but it is) and rel="nofollow" target="_top">Life Lessons from Catsass is more from the perspective of an asshole cat. I have an asshole cat. While Catsass hits all the targets regarding asshole cat behaviour, all it made me do was remember the time my asshole cat peed on my half-way finished 3000 piece puzzle of Guernica, completely ruining it while looking smugly at me all the while.

Cats are jerks.

(Also I love cats.)

(Hopefully your cat isn't an asshole.)

(And I keep typing Catass rather than Catsass.)

Fin.

Thank you for selecting me as a winner here on GR in the giveaway.

I am a huge fan of sarcastic and snarky humor and I do love Grumpy Cat but my favorite books of this genre are the series ' Suicide Bunnies '.

The cursing did not enhance the humor at all, and I at times curse myself, but felt it was added in to make it more 'cool'.

Too many puzzles and activities that I won't be using.

Perfect for a cat lover who likes snarky humor, that at times borders on the crass.
