The art style is really awesome, really accurate to the original story but the editing choices were not good. A few of my favorite parts were left out and I don't appreciate that. I love the real novels so much more.

This is a very good graphic novel for children 4-5. This graphic novel is basically a picture book for the book Percy Jackson, Battle of the Labyrinth. I would use this if I have read The Battle of the Labyrinth in class already. This book will give students a different perspective on the books, and will give them elements of the book to discuss about.

I really liked this graphic novel. The colors used in the artwork were just amazing. I liked this adaptation of the novel to a graphic novel better than The Lightning Thief. I'm excited for the next one.

Literary Merit: Good
Characterization: Good
Reading Level: Upper Elementary/Middle School
Recommended: Recommended for Riordan enthusiasts

Riordan fans who have read previous books in the Kane Chronicles will enjoy this adaptation, rife with action set pieces, love triangles, magic, and humor. Unfortunately, Riordan’s blockbuster writing style doesn’t quite translate well into a single graphic novel volume. So much happens on each individual page that panels become a confusing and frustrating jumble of busy action and even busier word balloons. Plot points and new characters frequently get lost in the chaos, and this reader didn’t have the time or focus to appreciate the story’s diverse and likeable cast. Fans of the book series will be most likely to enjoy this adaptation, but you may as well point them to the original book instead.… (plus d'informations)
