Okay. I was holding off on this review because I was in a state of disappointment for a while. I like some things - namely the set-up: rockstar romance, childhood bffs, "forbidden" romance (she's Jewish, he's not . . . this is kind of where it gets a bit eek).

Some things that didn't work . . . a lot of the Jewish stuff wasn't accurate. A few times I was doing big eyes due to the inaccuracy. Ultimately, I think Chaya and Ben's story had potential, but it just wasn't realized. I'm sad this is how the series ends.… (plus d'informations)

I liked this book a lot! Some of the writing was a bit uneven however what the book did well makes up for it. Zoey was a musician but due to deteriorating hearing, she does not feel she is able to continue to be involved with music. She now works for authors writing "book bibles" to help organize character information and other world info (which sounds amazing actually). Alex is a rockstar and really cool human. I really liked both characters and enjoyed spending time with them

Content notes: Alex is a white, pansexual man and Zoey is a white woman who is deaf There is no magical-you-can-hear-again plot.

CW's: pan-phobia (not always confronted on the spot but it is shut down often, the MMC experiences pan-phobia from one parent, some media and general public), abelism (deliberately making it difficult for a D&HOH person to understand what is being said, friends not accepting the disability of Zoey - most instances are confronted), explicit sex, light BDSM

Gwen and Clutch’s story was one that grips you from the start and takes you on one heck of a ride. Gwen and Clutch have a history one that they both had feelings for the other, but life changed things. Years later she’s on the run and needs help so she goes to her father’s MC club knowing it may not go the way she wants, but she has no other options. The tension between Clutch and Gwen is intense and hot. As they navigate these intense situations they find themselves in they can’t deny their chemistry no matter how hard they fight it, but with so much stacked against them will Gwen run or decide this is the life she wants to lead? I really enjoyed these gritty bikers that were strong and loyal. The suspense and storyline is captivating and I can’t wait for more.… (plus d'informations)

This book was amazing, one of the best debut novels that I've read in a long time. The story line was seriously emotional and intriguing not to mention the characters. I feel in love with everyone in this book and I cannot wait to read more by this author. Gritty and with just the right amount of sexiness this book truly found the perfect balance. I'm a huge fan now.
