My first read from author Lincoln Cole was so good I'm going to read another of his books next, and since I own several that's easy enough to do.

What happened to my father is a question Abigail keeps asking. Raven’s Peak World on Fire Book 1 is an awesome read. I was glad to see that the hero is female. The main character, Abigail, hunts and fights demons. I love her warped sense of humor. This is the perfect book for occult or paranormal readers. Abigail clips along at a pretty fast pace hunting demons in one town then another. She is a force to be reckoned with, and a fierce fighter. Can she fight the strongest demon and win? There is more than one plot to keep up with plus the Council’s conspiracy.
Abigail is on assignment to fight demons. Her sidekick, Haatim, a college student, unknowingly consents to do a job for a demon. He gets pulled into a world he thought existed only in his college text books. Is it possible demons live among us? Together they set out to hunt demons in a small town, Raven’s Peak. Her goal also is to find her father and find out what happened to him. This is her driving force to keep moving forward. Against the Council’s rules she follows the advice of one of the demons to find her father and in that she finds her past.
Lincoln Cole pulled out all stops for this book. It’s demonic, heroic, and nobody (including children) escapes the possibility of being possess by a demon.
Both characters come alive. Haatim didn’t know what he had to gain or lose when he got himself involved with Abigail. In the beginning all Haatim wanted was a job.
Will Abigail be able to withstand the Council’s punishment they have in store for her for not following their rules? Will Haatim be able to face his father now that he knows what his father is a part of?
After fighting demons Abigail doesn’t seem to be too bothered about having to answer to the Council for her decisions, which Haatim’s father is a part of. Can Haatam influence his father? I can’t wait to read the whole series.

Raven's Peak: Book One by Lincoln Cole is a tale of witchcraft and the fight between good and evil. Demons want to rule the world and the council and the hunters work to keep them in hell. Hunter Abigail, trained by her adopted father, the Reverend/Arthur, carries on his mission to do the council's bidding and destroy evil. Raven's Peak is where he fought the Demon. The reverend gave his life to save Abigail from a hell bound Demon. Haatim, a student of theology, joins Abigail in her quest. The book is detailed and well written. The story is sure to be enjoyed by fantasy/good & evil readers and fans of TV shows like Supernatural.… (plus d'informations)
