I started this on #4 but will be going back to the beginning. I love cozy mysteries but this one wasn't just a funny mystery with a great cast (it was all that) but it had more depth than you normally find. It was written very well and flowed so well that I couldn't put it down. Loved it!
I think I should've started at the beginning of the series before reading this, honestly. The story was ok, I was a little confused on the characters relationships with each other. Loved the incorporation of the supernatural/paranormal. I think this would have been more enjoyable had I read the other books first.
Viola Valentine is a damaged by grief, she lost her daughter to leukemia and couldn’t find her balance. She is then damaged by hurricane Katrina, left on her rooftop for two days in the floodwaters.
