The Bloomsbury Companion to New Religious Movements… par George D. Chryssides
This book overviews a variety of NRMs (New Religious Movements), but it does not provide useful information on the NRMs. As a rule it does not discuss the beliefs, practices, or other facts regarding the NRMs in each chapter. Instead, it only provides information regarding why academics desire to study these NRMs. Students and researchers who wish to actually learn about the NRMs discussed in this Bloomsbury Companion work will have to seek other resources in order to clarify what is only briefly sketched out here.… (plus d'informations)
Chryssides is an extraordinary scholar. But the subject matter becomes boring after a time. This particular religious movement could have done with some interviews of followers in their own words, or something like it, to spice up the text.
