Food time with this delicious book ! I totally loved The Collective Book Studio’s other ABC, B is for Bagel, so I decided to dig into another of their foodie yummy titles. Here we talk about noodles. YES ! An ABC Noodle !!! In this very original and inventive board book, you are invited to discover 26 distinctive noodle dishes from all around the world.
My only sadness with this book is that there are no recipes. Otherwise, from the text that explains and describes each dish to the pictures that are beautifully tasty, everything is perfect. This book is amazing for children to learn about letters and discover worldwide culture and dishes. I did not love that there was not pronunciation unless you scanned a QR code. But it's also better than nothing.
Board book is an interesting medium for this topic. Board book implies babies and, um, no baby is sitting for this in depth expose on noodles. BUT the exposure to cultures is perfect for any age!
