W. H. Chaney (1821–1903)

I can't seem to be able to find an ISBN # on my text, but I suspect it's because I have an original 1890 printing. W. H. Chaney was a true character. He is best-known for being Jack London's biological father, as Chaney had laid London's mother during a seance. Chaney then proceded to swear up and down that his horoscope proved he was sterile. I loved this book because political correctness was still eons in the future when Chaney wrote this book. Much of this book was put together in the 1870s, right here in Salem, Oregon. And I dearly love how Chaney skewered some local people who are now currently revered as cultural icons well into the 21st Century.… (plus d'informations)
