"Witness to Roswell not only sheds additional light on the case but in my opinion, blows away any arguments that skeptics and debunkers can put up. When I finished their book, I said to myself 'Case closed!' for the very wealth and sheer weight of eyewitness testimony." -George Noory, host, Coast afficher plus to Coast AM Thomas J. Carey has devoted the last 18 years to investigating the Roswell Incident and has authored or coauthored more than 30 articles on the subject. The true nature of what actually crashed in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947 remains classified. Only a select few have ever had access to the truth about what became known as Area 51.
But what happened to the remnants of that crash is shrouded in even greater mystery. What began in the high desert of New Mexico ended at Wright-Patterson, an ultra top-secret Air Force base in Dayton, Ohio. The physical evidence of extraterrestrial visitation was buried deep within this nuclear stronghold.
How tragic that such seismic news should be kept from the people of the world...pieces of history, now quickly dwindling into oblivion as the last of the secret-keepers passes on.
In spite of its rich history of military service to our nation, Wright-Patterson also stands as the secret tomb of one of the greatest occurrences in recorded history. But be prepared...the real Area 51--Wright-Patterson's vault--is about to be opened.

Witness to Roswell
by Thomas J. Carey and Donald R. Schmitt

Completely fascinating. This 318 page well written expose on what really happened at Roswell was a treat to my senses. I have one of those inquiring minds, and what might have took place in 1947 has been the subject of my ponders for years, but not anymore. My thirst finally feels quenched. I breathed a sigh of relief as soon as I started reading and saw how much info there was and the painstaking care with which the authors went about this mammoth task.

A couple other things I thoroughly enjoyed about this precious read is teacher is that the documentation was right there all the way through, and then as if the documentation wasn't enough, they even had pictures of the whos, whats, and wheres, that have been kept from us for so long. I would recommend this fun and exciting guide to anyone who has ever been curious about aliens and UFOs and if they did walk among us, and maybe even still do. Thanks you two, my head is a lot more settled after reading your incredible labor of love.

Love & Light,

Riki Frahmann

It's never a good sign when a book spends more time trying to convince the reader that it presents evidence than actually presenting the evidence. Carey and Schmitt present some good stuff, but would have been much more effective if they had included interview transcripts instead of narrative built from interviews. As a person trying to evaluate the evidence, I'd much rather hear what the witness said than an author's reduction or interpretation. And claiming you have annotated your research when most of the endnotes say "Personal interview" without details makes it just that much harder to evaluate the evidence.

I couldn't help but compare Witness to Rowell with Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy by Vince Bugliosi. If Carey and Schmitt had done as much to document their research as Bugliosi did, their case would be unquestionable. Instead, Witness to Roswell likely will come up unsatisfying to those trying to make sense out of a clearly suspicious set of circumstances.

Well documented and difficult to ignore; Not mentioned, but continuation of Nazi research? persons with progeria? or really from another world? Can't believe that the military cannot determine the identification and proportion of the elements making up the strange metals. I think that it is more likely to be military research except the descriptions of bodies questions that. Sometimes individuals state their interpretations rather than exactly what they observed. Only the military really knows. On Nov 4, 2007, National Geographic broadcast a documentary, "The Real Roswell", in which "experts" attempted to debunk the Roswell incident but their data pales in comparison to the documentation in Witness to Roswell. A "must" read. For more information, read the documentation reportedly from the military and NASA on display in the UFO museum in Roswell, NM.… (plus d'informations)
