Nice little tome of cosmic existential tales that suffers from too much sameness in then end. There are just so many eternal abysses of corrupted nothingness you can take in one volume. It's like 5 bitty werewolf tales in a 75 page book. A little bit preachy as well.
The first story, and gratefully the longest, An Abhorrence to All Flesh, is the best by far. Actually a really good story. Some of the other stories suffer from almost no plot which leaves them wrangling about existential nothingness and metaphysics without a real tale to tell.
Extra points for taking the Old Testament as a starting point rather than some fictional Necronomicon or the like.… (plus d'informations)
