What a great fast pace ...nail biting read. Read this in one day, couldn't put it down. The book is filled with action, Love of The Lord, Family and Friends. I wanted to move in and become one of them.
The main people in the book are Staci and Derrick Garrison, who have been together for 8 years and married for one. Staci had been warned by her family and if she had been listening by God, not to marry Derrick yet. Derrick had been born to a wonderful woman Coraline, an unmarried woman, and a Surgeon who had nothing to do with him. Thus he had a lot of unresolved issues.
There marriage has not been very happy, and Staci should have listened! When Derrick moves out she is devastated, and find comfort in a "friendship" with Malcolm. Now comes the part that should never have happened. They start to make their own decisions without prayer, and leaning on the Lord.
You will wonder if Staci will ever have the children she wants, if she will get back with Derrick, or will Malcolm win her over.
Don't miss this great read, and good points to live a Godly life!

I received this book from the Author Wanda B Campbell, and Tywebbin Virtual Book Tours, and was not required to give a positive review.

I admire the author for writing about pornography--a neglected subject matter--in this Christian fiction novel about an African-American pastor and his wife. The plot flows nicely, and I chose to stay up late to finish it. I wanted to see how it turns out. I'm glad that I made that choice.

The characters are beautifully written. Denise and Bryce are a couple in love with a serious problem to solve. I found myself rooting for their marriage to succeed. Benny and Lucinda cause some chuckles with their snappy dialog. Erin, the good friend, is quite believable; Jonas, though, is too good to be true.

The scenes at church are well written--even to the point of putting on the "church faces" and using the "church voices." Sins are sometimes hidden, best in churches.

I loved the metaphor of the ivy hedge.

However, there are some grammatical errors. Additional editing needs to take place, That said, it is still a worthwhile read.

If your looking for a book thats exciting and keeps you on the edge, stop here! Although written for fiction it is no way that. Let the truth be told, this book exposes our weakness, faults and failties but shows how God restored. There in nothing fiction about that.
