Wonderful compilation of two works of Scottish folklore from the early 20th century. This book makes a wonderful companion to Alexander Carmichael's "Carmina Gadelica" as the "Carmina Gadelica" has the old chants and prayers and "The Gaelic Otherworld" has how and why to they were used.

"Erin and Alba" -that is, Ireland and (Gaelic) Scotland. Notable for including his version of the Children of Lir. This may be another of the texts I bought for the Celtic and Germanic folklore honors class at Bowling Green, but I am less sure of it.
