Second in Moppet Books' series (and it looks like the two most recent ones aren't on Goodreads, so I'll likely have to add them). A nice mix of newer discoveries and older animals, in addition to everyone's fave, the superb bird-of-paradise (the cover I received is slightly different and has the long-wattled umbrellabird in the superb's place on the GR cover. A lot of birds in the land section, but a good mix overall of fauna.

Kickstarted the two most recent books in the series and decided to go for the pack that included the prior two (AND kickstarted it before we knew we were expecting). Great illustrations, brief descriptions that should be fine for little one. At minimum, a stepping stone before Dad shows wee bab all the Attenborough documentaries.

One of two books in Moppet Books' 2022 kickstarter campaign, Encyclopedia of Legendary Creatures has beautiful illustrations that cover a wide range of mythological creatures from the classic sphinx to the modern American mothman! I do wish there was a wider array of creatures as it felt skewed towards traditional European legends, but there's plenty here to spark young imaginations.

Received this month via Kickstarter- beautiful illustrations, and a great array of taxa across multiple continents. I can't help but be reminded of Animal Crossing when perusing through choices... less clear to me is how they're divided into Collection One and Collection Two, but regardless this is a good intro for young readers to entomology.
