This was pretty awful. It felt very contrived and the overall quality (in my opinion) was poor. There were a number of unnecessary details (I have no concern as to what the main character ordered at Taco Bell or how rusted her truck is). I loathe when authors feel the need to include every minute, unimportant detail. One of my favorite lines: "If he was Void, he would die and then who would I hang out with?". The protagonist certainly has her priorities in order and is a strong, independent and empowered girl. I always try to be respectful of the time and emotion an author invests in their work. But this particular piece felt so rushed, almost as if the writer forgot they had an assignment due and cranked this out in 20 minutes and to hell with the consequences.

This short story does have one positive thing going for it and that it should be proud of it: It's not [b:PineLight|12075543|PineLight|Jillian Peery|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1311160130s/12075543.jpg|16786140]

This short story was very cute and I loved it. I thought that the characters were warming the story heartfelt and it was well-written the only thing I wish is that it would have been longer. I think that if the author had written more than it would have been a bestseller because the story touches you like no other. I normally do not like Fae stories but this one was pretty good. Just needed more development and story.

I received a complimentary copy of Wolfsong in exchange for my honest review of it.I enjoyed this book immensely. Kia'la is a half-human, half-wolf heir to the throne of his father's people. He has absolutely no idea who he is. That is until, shy and awkward Kia meets Arii. She has come to Kia's world, the human world, to seduce him to the come home with her. He doesn't want to leave, so Arii returns to her world. The next day, after receiving a text from Arii, Kia gets kidnapped and brought to the wolf world. What I really enjoyed about this story is that it's different than most wolf stories. The two worlds are kept separate. The wolves typically kill humans, but there was none of that in Wolfsong. There is very little violence and it makes a great read for any reader.… (plus d'informations)
