This was one of my favorites in this series. Holly Vance works for a handsome boss, Jake Montgomery, who is the FBI's computer expert. Holly is his efficient secretary who he doesn't really pay much attention to. But when a drug cartel boss is out to keep them from uncovering secrets, Jake and Holly will find themselves stuck in a small out-of-the-way cabin for days, working together and Jake's eyes will begin to be open to what a great person Holly is. How it all plays out was enjoyable to read.… (plus d'informations)

Looking for Miracles grabbed my attention from the very beginning. I loved the characters, the sweet story line, and I am always a sucker for a Christmas setting.
Of course there is insta-love, but hey, this is Harlequin. Note to self: Get over it. It would be like reading a fairytale and then getting **** off at the'happily ever after' ending.
The problem is in the ending. The book was good and then all of a sudden... the story shifted, things got rushed and the author packed up and went home.… (plus d'informations)

A story you will feel good about after having read it. A quick read where you know how it is going to end, but in this story there is a really nice surprise at the end I wasn't expecting.

Lori Harper is a recently widowed young lady with a young son and another child on the way. In spite of all this she is always "looking for little miracles" that God sends to her along the way. She finds herself in an isolated run down trailer about to give birth and hoping for one of those miracles. Along comes two people on Christmas Eve from the fire department bearing gifts for her and her son when they find themselves with a lady close to delivery. Mike Martin, is one of those volunteers at the fire department and finds himself "outside his comfort zone" helping Lori get to the hospital. This of course is the beginning of him helping her and her two little ones. What he can't get over is her positive attitude towards God in the midst of her trying circumstances. A story of hope and believing in a God who cares for and loves you and who shows himself in all the little things he brings your way.… (plus d'informations)

My first book finished in this new year and it was a great book to start the year off with. This book really surprised me because usually 3-books-in-one are okay to read because they are quick and an easy read. But I just fell in love with all three of these stories and felt like I was reading the best work of each of these authors. Okay, there was no mystery about how each of these stories would end. Girl meets boy and they work out their problems and end up together. What made these so real and good for me was the message behind each story; the healing power of love, finding the faith you thought you lost, and being willing to trust and truly love someone above yourself. Each story had a secondary character who had a defining moment in the story and seemed to convey the real meaning and message behind each story. I am very glad I read these stories and this is one I will keep and hopefully read again.… (plus d'informations)
