I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. We revisit Jael Shetler where book 2 has left off. Uncle Seth has been injured by Carolyn, who has become half vampire and half human. Can Father Thomas save her soul? Will Seth survive? Will the Bishop be destroyed?

This is book 3 of The Amish Bloodsuckers Trilogy. This was an amazing book. I was once again drawn into the world of Amish Vampires from the very beginning. This story has nonstop action with many twists. We also see, as promised, the reappearance of Bree and Shadow. This book ties up all of the loose ends and it was great to see her as her love for her boyfriend Gabe grows. This was an excellent trilogy, one that I’m sad to see end.

I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. Jael Shetler has lost her parents in a horrible car accident. Now, she must leave Nevada, and live in Loon Lake Amish community with her grandparents. She had never met them before; learning to live a “plain” life has put her in culture shock. Her first day at Loon Lake High School, she meets Gabriel. He’s a sweet guy, an artist, an altar boy, someone that knows the truth but isn’t afraid of her. Can she give up the life she’s known to be Amish? Will she be able to save the community from the crazed Bishop?

This is book 2 of The Amish Bloodsuckers Trilogy. This was an amazing book. I was drawn in from page one! You could feel Jael’s pain dealing with her parents’ deaths. I loved Jael’s dreams of the biblical Jael. I think it reinforces her calling and she draws strength from it. This was a great fun read! One I truly enjoyed!

I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. Jael Shetler is about to celebrate her sixteenth birthday. Her father has spent years training her in martial arts for this very day. You see, Jael is the Chosen One; the one that will slay vampires and bring order to her parents hometown, Loon Lake in Minnesota. Unfortunately, she had no idea until 3 weeks prior.

Brianna is Jael’s best friend and polar opposite. She’s accepted all of Jael’s quirks and ignores the bizarre rumors that go around about Jael. She has no clue her best friend is a vampire slayer, will she even believe her when the truth comes out?

Shadow is the really cute high school bad boy. He helps Jael when the school rumors cause a group of boys to want to do harm to Jael. He’s also a tracker, can Jael trust him or will he set her up?

This was a fun page turning read. I loved the tie in to Jael in the bible; it went perfectly with the heroine Jael in this book. The premise reminded me of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. There’s a lot of action and adventure, as they seem to find vampires everywhere they went! If you like Buffy, you’ll love this book. I can’t wait to see what happens in book two!

The elegant writing within this book was just a joy to read. The easy and orderly fashion allowed each word to flow with a rhythmic pace, keeping you glued to the story.
And what a story. It is unique and from a different point of view without the violence one would expect with the topic. But subtle and empathic as the author takes you into the mind of an abused child from the eyes of a grown-up.

Once I started with the book, I simply good not put it down.
This book has been on my Kindle for seven years, but once I finally got to it, I was mesmerized.
Thank you for the freebie, at the time. I am looking forward to more from this author.
