The story was good but the comma usage was crazy. And the main character's last name changed at one point. But I'm known for noticing things and getting hung up on them more than a lot of people.

I did like the plot and the characters. I'll pick up more of the author's work. But I would recommend a new edition of this one with the commas cleaned up a bit.

Civil War, trying to survive. Charlotte Bratcher is the best horse rider in the county with a horse that the horse thieves want, but it's her heart she can't control. Stubborn, proud and strong, a woman to remember, Charlotte is a good example of a female surviver of a war she didn't start, didn't believe in but was damn well going to survive.

When it comes to infidelity I always thought it's a black and white issue: you can maybe (maybe!) forgive, but you can never, never forget. It's grounds for the end of a relationship, no matter how many years and how much love has been invested.

But R.E. Bradshaw's _Before It Stains_ is so well-written and so compelling (with fully fleshed out characters you grow to care for) that Stephanie and Mo's story made me wonder if it might be possible to sew it all back together once the seams rip apart.

Though certainly not ground-breaking (infidelity has long been the topic of many a novel and some parts remind me of the first season of The L Word when Bette cheated on Tina and they worked on rebuilding their relationship) _Before It Stains_ is so earnest and touching that you can't help but root for Stephanie and Mo to get back together. It's not every writer that can make you do this!:)

Entertaining read, sweet romance with witty dialogue and likable characters.
I've read a few of Ms.Bradshaw's other books and she is a good at delivering
interesting romances while avoiding the typical cliches you usually find on this
genre...

If you are into Lesfic give this one a try, I think you'd like it!
