Traditional tale presented in both english and Ojibwa, with a cd and a section at the front that talks about appropriate protocol for telling the story. A sense of quiet and respect permeates the story, and I appreciate that.

This is a book that I would use to teach my students about multiculturism. Also I would use it to teach students about perseverance.

The book ends with a note from the painter, which is a brief accounting of his life growing up in the old ways, but in a tiny typeface indicating it's status as background material.… (plus d'informations)
