I read this book and wondered where Sarah Boss had been all of my education. This is the kind of theology I want to write. This is why I am pursuing further graduate work with her. In addition to it resonating deeply with me, the book is short and sweet. For those who are tired of a placid Mary, hands folded, this book opens up greater possibilities for Her place in Christianity. It rings of Eastern Orthodox ideas of the Theotokos.
