EVENT CANCELLED On doctor’s orders, Lawrence Block has been forced to cancel his travel plans for August. He’s grounded. Nothing critical, he assures us, but no jet travel either. No trip to Seattle. No signing with us. We’re working on alternate ideas to get his most recent books signed and will let you know of the possibilities when we know what will work. Just this morning, Monday, Aug 6th, the Seattle Times mentioned his event with us in the “Lit Life” colunmn. Lawrence Block will be promoting his new mystery, “A Drop of the Hard Stuff” in which he brings his greatest character, Matthew Scudder, back into action in his most personal case.
