Madam of the House par Donna Birdsell
Fun, lighthearted read. After a separation from her no-good husband who used up all their money, 39-year-old real estate agent, Cecilia, gets mixed up in all kinds of trouble--from gigolo parties, to accidental drug dealings, to a cop on her trail. All this plus a fling with her 25-year-old assistant, Jake, who has the hots for her. An amusing story that leaned more towards chick-lit than just regular romance. I also adored the lovable big dog, Quincy.
What do you do when your recently deceased husband was a philandering jerk, but a great dad to your small kids...and all you are left with is a pile of bills and a sack full of counterfeit money? Why, you drop your kids at the grandparents house, hop on a plane bound for a beautiful island and find some answers...along with danger, mystery and a really hunky guy. Donna Birdsell's "A Widow in Paradise" is a great read full of humor and touching romance as well. Fans of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books should definitely crack this one open!… (plus d'informations)
I loved this book, it was so amazing. I could not put it down for anything. I was up all night!
