This is the most magnificent work of Victorian Anglo Catholic Piety I have ever encountered! Totally absurd, but absolutely riveting in its obsessive hagiography of the (when written) soon to die Fr Ignatius. I take it down from my bookshelf when depressed, and within ten minutes am rolling around with laughter and delight! Found in a second hand bookshop in Thaxted, Essex in the early 70,s and one of my great treasures
