I can't remember the last time I read a book I enjoyed so much! I not only wanted to finish it as soon as possible, but also wanted to get the next book in the series as soon as I got to the end. This book was deep, emotional, honest, and intense. I love that the conflict was real and not something superficial. I loved that the characters were so similar, yet opposite, and that the author allows the crushing blow to cause Chloe to seek God for herself. I simply loved this book. I would have finished it in a day but had to get some sleep in order to get to an appointment earlier today.

I am also really glad that the story isn't over or completely resolved yet, so the saga continues. I have to say that I have never seen a book quite so edgy on the one hand, yet wholesome on the other. The characters are truly remarkable and believable. The faith element is going to hit some readers pretty hard, but in a good way. It delves into what faith really is and what it isn't. It goes deeper than the theological and touches on the heart issue. I can't say more without posting a spoiler.

Bottom line, this is the most inspiring and intriguing inspirational romance that I have read in years. It starts with an intense opening and really doesn't let up, which is why I found it so compulsively readable. Great job, Dayo! Can't wait to read the rest of the series. It's better than television!

This book was one of those hard to put down books for me. Definitely kept my attention. My only complaint was when Crystal talked to the occultists who wanted to leave the occult she told them they could defeat the organization if they accepted Christ. But instead the occultists are planning on brushing up on their witchcraft to fight the organization.

"She had a team for her mission now, but were they the right team? A bunch of wizards who would rather hone their craft than accept Jesus?"

No, they are definitely not the right team. Darkness can't drive out darkness. So that spoiled it a little for me, but hopefully in the next book in the series they will learn that using witchcraft rather than accepting Christ is a mistake. After all, this is supposed to be a Christian book series, so I'm assuming they'll learn their lesson in the end.

Overall this book is not bad. However, there is some talk about the size of one of the character's private parts at one point in this book. I don't believe this is suitable content for a Christian book.

The title of the book is rather deceptive--to me anyway. It's not a page-by-page book gushing about sexual adventures or anything. Part of the story focuses on a sexually abused woman named Noemi who is struggling to accept her past, overcome the pain and guilt she feels, and learn that she is still valued and loved by God and her true friends. The other part of the story zeroes in on a widower named Dr. David Steel who has a painful past of his own--his wife was not who he thought she was. And she died in the arms of another man. David and Noemi meet at a retreat...both broken and both in need of much healing.

It seems that with every step forward, Noemi ends up taking two steps back. But I think that's a fairly common feeling when your past is riddled with abuse, distrust, and self-loathing.

It's a lovely story that will make you feel the emotions for both of them.
