I was intrigued to learn more about the police investigation into this world-wide reported series of murders. The detail was at times chilling and horrific, but the writing style never lingered too long or gloried over the facts.

It was amazing to realise the sheer volume of data which came into the enquiry and how the new HOLMES computer systems helped them to manage it, albeit not always perfectly.

This is not an easy read, and certainly not for those of a nervous disposition, but if you want to learn more about the realities of a complex police investigation, you should read this book.… (plus d'informations)
