I picked this up (stole it from the English grad lounge) because I couldn't remember the last time I read a magazine that wasn't the New Yorker, and we all know what kind of person only reads the New Yorker. Anyway, it's been a while, The Atlantic, and I think I mixed you up with Harper's, because I certainly wasn't expecting what I got. Henry Miller said that writing is either improved by reading it on the toilet (giving Ulysses as an example) or renders up its flaws, and gave The Atlantic as an example of the latter. That's a shame if true, because read under normal circumstances this is just Time for a slightly wealthier demographic. Mostly trash, and when it's not it's, like, and article on Curb Your Enthusiasm or something else about which nobody gives a fuck.… (plus d'informations)
