Steve Bassett

This is a book about kids and gangsters. This takes place in Newark during the end of WWll. Most people are having a hard time making a living and their children are trying to get paper routes to bring in some much needed cash. There is a bit of bad language but this was how they talked at that time. I was a little confused at times as to who some of the characters were and how they fit in the story but it really pulls you in. You have to find out what happens to everybody.
