E. Boyd Barrett

After Roberto Assagioli's book, The Act of Will, E. Boyd Barrett's Strength of Will is perhaps the most important and significant for anyone interested in developing and strengthening their Will. In fact, it appears that Barrett's concept of the Will heavily influenced Assagioli, and this can be seen in the Stages of the Willed Act given in The Act of Will. However, Barrett's book stands on its own due to the authors many years of dedicated study of the Will, and his proposal of a Psychology of the Will.
