I May Be Wrong but I Doubt It par Charles Barkley
Fresh off Who's Afraif of a Large Black Man, I had to read Charles first book. Though his behavior is quite crazy, he does make a lot of sense.
In some ways I have modeled myself under Charles Barkley. I like the rather transparent and honest way he lives his life. He just speaks his mind and though people may not agree, they just chuckle instead of being offended.
I would like to be a person that can speak my mind freely ... and also welcome people to speak their mind freely to me.
So in the spirit of speaking freely ... this is my review. Charles Barkley came up with the idea of interviewing people on the subject of race. The answers in the interviews were remarkably grey and frank. No HR/PR spin .... people taking a moment to step out of the limelight and converse heart to heart. Talking to the person ... not the image the person is trying to convey.… (plus d'informations)

Charles Barkley is opinionated, candid and often provocative. I don't always agree with him but I respect what he has to say. I enjoy his commentaries on the NBA and listen to his thoughts on politics and race relations. This was a dated book. Barkley had just retired but it was more than a sports book. The book, like Barkley, is entertaining---some interesting opinions and stories. I'm happy to note that Charles, for the most part, enjoyed his playing days and the fans in Philadelphia.
Charles Barkley attempts to address the subject of racism through a series of interviews with different celebrities, politicians, and other public figures.
