It's more a scene than a story, but so cute and sweet, that I fell in love with it. I hope to read more books by this author this year.

12th Night

Christmas Spice - Anna Leigh Keaton- 3 Stars - Victoria “Vicky”, Detective Drake - I needed a heads up about this. The scene was hot but the consent issue made it less so for me.

A Perfect Fit - Lacy Danes - Stars - Who??? - I didn’t care for the POV in this story. It made me uncomfortable putting myself in a character so I DNF’d

The Best Santa Ever - Katie Allen - 3 Stars - Alexander “Xan” Brooks, Melanie - What a steamy romp through the north pole. *wink wink*

Stroking Midnight - Raine Weaver - Stars - Calvary “Callie” Marsh, Josh - I haven’t been motivated to pick this up in two days so I am DNF-ing.

Ghost of Christmas Second Chance - Amy Ruttan - 3 Stars - Melora, Henry, Ghost of Christmas Past - A literal second chance romance. Melora, after living her life alone, has been given the chance, by the Ghost of Christmas Past, to go back and not only fix her relationship with Henry but save his life. It’s a little cheesy and everything happens very quickly but I liked it.

Holiday Traditions - Christine D’Abo - Stars - Ardara Raion, Grayson - This is not the fault of this story. I’m just not feeling reading sex for sex sake and that is how this whole book has felt. I know these are intended to be quickies and there is a time and place for that but it’s not here and now for me.

Three’s a Charm - TJ Michaels - Stars - CHARACTER NAMES HERE - REVIEW/THOUGHTS HERE

Wicked Resolutions - SERIES INFO - Karen Erickson - Stars - CHARACTER NAMES HERE - REVIEW/THOUGHTS HERE

Light My Fire - Alisha Rai - 3 Stars - Lisa Alvarez, “Josh” - I enjoyed the change up in plot. I’ve been reading a lot of second chance romance lately and this was a much appreciated change.

Epiphany - SERIES INFO - Jackie Barbosa - Stars - CHARACTER NAMES HERE - REVIEW/THOUGHTS HERE

All I Want for Christmas - Emma Petersen - Stars - CHARACTER NAMES HERE - REVIEW/THOUGHTS HERE

Wherever You Are - SERIES INFO - Amie Stuart - Stars - CHARACTER NAMES HERE - REVIEW/THOUGHTS HERE

It’s getting an extra star since some portion of my review is unfair because my dislike is in part due to it being insanely short - like 50 pages - and it being erotica. First, let me say that I adore a steamy read. I hate when there is no sex in romances. But I tend to avoid erotica because it’s 90% sex and 10% plot, and that’s 110% the case here. There is zero character development or story or plot, it’s all just two people boning in wildly anachronistic style. But the main reason why I really disliked it is the unbelievable douchebro move of taking the heroine’s virginity with anal sex! WTAF. I am not trying to say that women can’t enjoy or even maybe cum from anal sex (anything is possible) but WHAT fucking Regency-era completely untouched VIRGIN is like “let me suck your cock and then fuck me in the ass, plz.” Sorry, but that is beyond my ability to suspend disbelief in modern times, much less 200 years ago. Also the weird conflation of virginity with a hymen being intact from lack of PIV sex is trash because 1) that is the exact bullshit “Christian” teen boys use to manipulate their girlfriends into anal/oral sex they don’t want or enjoy, and 2) apparently any lesbian who has never fucked a dude is a virgin even if she’s had sex with a million girls Basically, I knew I was going to be disappointed by a too-short erotica piece but I was willing to give it a go because I LOVE insecure chubby heroines, but this heroine is brazen af and he being chubby takes up about a paragraph of the story, so… (plus d'informations)

Emily is being the wallflower of the evening as she attends a party in the home of the Viscount St Germaine. As she watches the others dance she cant help but wonder about their host.

There are plenty rumors about him since he joined the army and was sent home and since then no one sees him.

So Emily is a bit shocked when a man who can be none other than the Viscounts sits down next to her and turns out to be a very charming man who actually knows her name.

This is a very very short story but I liked the characters despite the fact that there is so little time for them to evolve this being only 30 pages. I would call this a vignette into their lives.

I wouldnt have minded to see a full lenght book about them :)
