I really enjoyed this book as a cat lover and with interest in mythology. The stories are short and each one is about a different culture from around the world. I loved the illustrations that went with each story. I really enjoyed how there's a little bit of information about the breed of cats in the stories and other information after. This book would an interesting and fun way to introduce mythology to a young reader who is interested in cats or animals.
This book is a collection of short stories that involve cats in different myths from cultures all over the world. The images are illustrations that are lifelike and done in colored pencil. I love the idea of creating an anthology just of cat myths because little girls especially really adore cats of all kinds. Relating their love of cats to actual myths that cultures have can ground their appreciating into a deeper understanding of creation myths and legends as a whole while engaging them because its about something they love. This is a cool concept for a book, and I would deifnitely have this in a classroom reading shelf.… (plus d'informations)
This book offers expressive illustration which represent each story well. This book would be a fun way to introduce mythology since they are short and fun. Plus, cats are everywhere in our culture and this book could easily grab a child's attention.
