We have great respect for Levy's teachings, and this book is a gem with no equal. We continue to glean insight from re-referencing this book, deepening our knowledge through Levy's counsel. ... When applying Levy's wisdoms to contemporary dog and cat care, review the ideas with an open-minded vet, just to check that no harm will result. Note that, in general, dogs' systems are more tolerant of herbal tonics and food therapies than are cats.
