Fishing with Grandma, is a book about children learning about their cultures past from their Grandma. This book could be used in a classroom to teach about the native American history.

A sweet story of two children who go fishing with their grandma. This book gives us into a look the lives of members who are apart of the Inuit tribe in Alaska and their daily habits.

This book tells the story of a brother and a sister visiting their Anaanatsiiaq, or grandmother, who takes them on an adventure to go jigging for fish in the ice. This story uses rich vocabulary and charismatic illustrations that conveys the Inuit culture. I would use this book for K-2 grade to learn about Inuit culture and build empathy and understanding of other cultures and children in those other cultures.

This book would be good for primary and lower intermediate students. It could be used as a good representation of different cultures, also lessons on surplus and sharing. The book is about children that go to their grandmas and want to go on an adventure. They go Ice fishing and learn some traditional ways of jigging.
