The Other Grand Dukes (Sons and Grandsons of… par Arturo E. Beéche
An outstanding collection of biographies of some of the Grand Dukes of Russia. Arturo Beeche and his team have done it again, with a thoroughly readable book about a time long gone. The book contains a couple of very minor editing mistakes, but this in no way detracts from this excellent addition to the Romanov saga. A must have!

This was such a great book. Arturo Beeche has done a wonderful job in portraying Grand Duchess Helen Vladimirovna of Russia and her family through words and a multitude of photographs. The book is a marvel and an important addition to the world of royal books. Any collector should get this for their library.
I did, however, have a couple complaints. The first was the lack of footnotes and index, which I consider staples of any royal biography. The second was the unfortunate typographical errors which could have been fixed by running a spellcheck.
These complaints aside, the book is wonderful, and Mr. Beeche is to be commended on a job well-done.… (plus d'informations)
