A romcom with snark, 69 Million Things I Hate About You is the first book in the Winning the Billionaire series and follows a group of billionaire's as they fall in love.

Kiersten Abbott is thrown into the deep end when her boss abruptly quits and she becomes the new personal assistant to Cole Harrington. Cole is charming, direct and gorgeous and people love him. Unless they work for him. Then they discover he's demanding, difficult and often completely and utterly unreasonable.

I adored this book. It was feel good romance at its finest and humour at its funniest. This book is hysterical. The plot was pretty standard but it was well written and very enjoyable. Both Cole and Kiersten were great characters and their chemistry was off the charts. Their warring was brilliant. The rest of the cast of characters were interesting and helped to make the book a little more well rounded.

I literally highlighted 117 parts of the story. I think that says it all. 4.5 stars.

This was an entertaining story. The writing was not as polished as it could have been but it was certainly readable and not a struggle. I'd read more from this writer, and I'm kinda picky, for what that's worth. The dynamic in the love interest worked very well most of the time, and the family aspects were great.

This book went from fun to OTT unbelievable in about 2 pages. I would have loved to see her slowly upping the bad secretary stakes on an unsuspecting starchy boss and then have him realistically chose, over his better instincts, to overlook her antics until he realized he loved her. But he knew from the get go what she was doing . And there was nothing gradual. She started off by getting a full body massage in his office the first day. That’s when I noped it.

Didn't even make it through the first chapter. I can't remember how this one ended up on The List but it's a boss-assistant romance and the power imbalance in these types of romances often skeeve me out. Add mediocre writing and I was out after only a couple pages. YMMV.
