It was an interesting read, made me found a bit of inspiration for my very own book.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
This has zero to do with writing a romance novel. Instead, it's a desperate sales pitch for the author's books.
It tells: you need a cover, a blurb, a hook. But there is zilch on technique or layout. Only links to check out the author's work as an example.

"The reader should see images that provide a promise."
Well, the author failed on the promise because this title says 'How to Write a Romance Novel' when in fact it should be:
"How to promote a freebie to attract buyers to my books."… (plus d'informations)

I found this as a free download on iBooks....quick, cheesy romance. Had some touching moments then had some interesting (or could have been more interesting) plot twists. Would like to have seen the MC really take on the bitchy neighbor lady and give her a good what for. As for our heart throb, seems a little too perfect for me. I like my men with a bit of an edge, a flaw, something that makes me think "Yea, somewhere out there this man is waiting for me."
But can't complain too much, have been reading some books with intense plot lines that I needed some fluff. This fits the bill.… (plus d'informations)

The story was OK and I found the characters interesting, but it felt a little off. I think if it had gone through some more editing, the story might have stood out better. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but I have no interest in reading it again.
