Courte biographie
Alex Ander grew up in Michigan and lives in the middle of the ‘mitten.’ He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from Detroit College of Business, before starting his professional career. He has worked in the areas of Education and Business; currently, he is a self-employed, independent contractor.

Alex has engaged in many activities in his lifetime, including baseball, basketball, golf, hockey, downhill skiing, and wood working. Most recently, he began playing the harmonica. As a devoted fan of the Detroit Lions, he never misses a game and, more importantly, never gives up on the team during a difficult season.

Alex’s creative nature led him to begin a career writing shorter novels in the thriller genre. He enjoys the writing process; creating characters that connect with readers. He envisions his readers becoming personally vested in the characters, eager to learn more about them.

I thought this was an ookay book. It was short which was nice for an afternoon read, but I thought it didn't really flow. First it's doing one thing than another thing but it doesn't really explain any one thing very well. I still liked the book but I didn't always understand it.

If you enjoy fast paced, Criminal Minds style books, then "Vengeance is Mine" is for you. The plot is well done and moves quickly, following a serial murder case with a personal connection. The main character is fearless and fierce, and her relationship with her partner agent is very well done. This book also threw in some humor to lighten up the darker mood. My only criticism is that the book is very short and there were some minor errors (nothing I couldn't look past, but like it needed a final grammar edit).… (plus d'informations)

The Unsanctioned Patriot is an engrossing thriller where the main female character has Miss America qualifying good looks and all the male characters are in great shape. Other than those doubtable character descriptions, the book’s storyline is one that kept me repeating, “just one more chapter”, late into the night.

According to the bio at the end of the ebook, this is the first book series that Alex Ander wrote. His main special forces trained character, Aaron Hardy, is not unlike others in the genre, but that similarity does not lessen the impact of the story. I’m sure that the next book in this series will add to the character uniqueness of Hardy.

My only regret after finishing this book is that I wished it was longer. Short books are good when you only have a limited amount of time, while air traveling for example, but when you’re reading a really good book for enjoyment, you don’t want it to end. Hopefully, Anders will meet my reading needs with the next book in the series.

The fourth book I've read from my favourite author, and so far, I've loved every single one of them. I always feel like I can relate to the characters, especially on an emotional level. It was really mean for the bad guys to consider the teams expendable, and the way it was done was so horrific.

I think there is a spark between Cruz and Hardy, and they really do suit each other. I love the way the author describes the reconnaissance scenes; I can feel shivers going down my spine as if I was drawn right into the action.

One thing that did disturb a little, was the detailed description of the clothes of the characters. To me, it is irrelevant what the people are wearing, unless... unless a special primary character is going out on a special date or is being married.

Overall, this is a wonderful book for action-lovers, and I enjoyed the read. I am curious about Aaron Hardy's future as I am very interested in him.
