This book is at my office and despite being published in 1977, the information is still very relevant. The only thing not really covered was dental implants as a method for replacing missing teeth.

Information is condensed to a page per topic and covers:
*the anatomy of teeth/what teeth are made of
*why it is important to take care of your teeth and how to do it
*why you should take care of dental problems when they are small and not wait
*when you need a root canal and what happens during a root canal
*replacing missing teeth with bridges, partials or full dentures
*various dental specialists and what they do
